Discount coupons are an effective tool to encourage bookings, build guest loyalty, and boost occupancy in specific seasons. Here's how to create and configure them in AvaiBook.
Access to functionality
You can access coupon creation from the menu:
Booking Engine > Coupon > Settings
Click the "Create Coupon" button to start setup
Steps to create a coupon
To create a coupon on AvaiBook, start by assigning it an identifying name, which will allow you to easily locate it. You can add an optional description if you want to include more details about its use or conditions.
Then, select the type of discount, choosing between a fixed amount in euros or a percentage, and enter the value of the corresponding discount.
It is possible to set a usage limit for the coupon, i.e. how many times it can be applied. If you'd prefer it to be available without restrictions, simply leave this field blank.
Then, choose the accommodation(s) where the coupon will be applied. You can also define the type of period in which it will be valid:
If you select booking dates, the discount will be applied to bookings made within the indicated interval.
If you choose stay dates, the discount will only apply if the guest's stay occurs on those dates.
As for the application period, you can leave it without dates so that the coupon is active indefinitely from its creation. You can also indicate only a start date, or a full range if you want to limit it to a specific period.
Finally, you can activate or deactivate the coupon at any time, and decide if it can be combined with other offers available at your property.
Remember to save the information in each tab to ensure that the changes are applied correctly.
How can you share and make travellers known?
These discounts are not automatically visible or promoted by us.
The tool is designed for you to generate a code and be the one who delivers it to the guest.
Email template: Create a template and send it automatically to all bookings that have already completed their stay. This way, the traveller will receive the code after check-out and can use it if they want to book with you again.
Website: Advertise it visibly on your Page, so travelers know they have an active discount.
Email marketing: Send emails to previous guests inviting them to book again and sharing the coupon.
Booking invitations from AvaiBook: Directly include the coupon code in the message.
Other external channels: you can also spread it through social networks, WhatsApp or other means of communication with your travelers.

The discount does not stack with others, such as those you have on Booking.
It does not synchronize with external portals.
It only applies to bookings that come in through your booking engine. During the process, the traveler will find a field to enter the code and apply it.
Simply put: the system provides the tool, but you are responsible for delivering, advertising, and promoting the discount code to the traveler.

Standard Plan: Allows the creation of a single discount coupon.
Pro Plan: Allows the creation of an unlimited number of coupons and offers the possibility of searching for them using filters.
Accommodations with internal units: In accommodations composed of several internal units (partial accommodations), coupons will be applied to all units.
