To improve control and traceability of each booking, we present the new “Stay Status” feature. Now you can quickly and easily identify whether a booking is in the process of check‑in, has completed check‑out, or is a no‑show, and update this status from different access points in the system.
✨ Feature available for users on the PRO plan.

What is the Stay Status?
The Stay status allows you to select and view which phase a specific booking is in, choosing among the following options:
Check-in: When the guest has begun registration and entered the accommodation.
Check‑out: When the guest has finished their stay and has left.
No‑show: When the guest does not show up for the booking.
This feature makes it easier to keep accurate and up‑to‑date control of the status of each booking, helping improve organization and internal communication.
How and where can you set or update the Stay Status?
The status can be selected or modified from several areas within the system.
Booking details:
From the booking details, you can easily select or update the stay status in its dedicated section.
Calendar:
Right-clicking on a booking in the calendar opens a dropdown menu with several options, including the ability to set or update the stay status.
Clicking on a booking opens a view with the “Stay Status” section, where you can choose the appropriate status.
Initial setup and daily use
By default, all bookings start with no status assigned, giving you and your team the flexibility to update the status as the stay progresses.
On the check-in day, you can set the status to Check-in once the guest has arrived.
When the stay ends, simply update the status to Check-out.
If the guest doesn't show up, mark the booking as No-show.
This flexibility allows you to track reservations in real time and manage bookings more efficiently. You can easily filter and review bookings by status—Check-in, Check-out, or No-show—from Planning > Bookings, using the Stay status filter.
In the final column of the bookings list, you will see the meaning of each icon:
Unspecified: – (dash)
When you hover over the area the text appears:
Check‑in: → (arrow icon) 📅 (calendar icon)
When you hover over the icon the text appears:
Check‑out: 📅 (calendar icon) → (arrow icon)
When you hover over the icon the text appears:
No‑show: x (cross icon)
When you hover over the icon the text appears:
Who can view and modify the Stay Status?
Main user: Has full access to view and modify the status of any booking.
Staff users: If you have staff users created in the system, they can also view and change the stay status as needed.
Users with a check‑in/check‑out profile for reception: See details in the following section.
What happens with the user profile for check‑in/check‑out?
When a user whose role is specifically Check‑in or Check‑out performs their task, none of their usual assigned functionalities are changed or extended. The main difference is that, upon completing their task (whether the check‑in registration or the check‑out completion), they will be able to mark it as completed or No‑show — The guest did not show up at the accommodation.
This will result in:
The system automatically sending the corresponding update to the main user.
The stay status being updated in the booking record, reflecting actual progress and avoiding manual errors.
