At AvaiBook, we understand the importance of having your accommodations perfectly configured before publishing them. For this reason, we have developed a feature that allows you to create each new accommodation in an unpublished state. This ensures that the accommodation is not visible in the booking engine or on our website and does not connect to the portals until it is completely ready.
Advantages of creating housing in an unpublished state
Quiet and complete setup
Creating an accommodation in an unpublished state allows you to configure all the important aspects without haste.
You can add:
Contents and detailed descriptions
High-quality photographs
Updated rates and availability
Improving the guest experience
Avoid your future guests finding accommodations with incomplete information or outdated calendars, which could cause a bad impression and affect your bookings.
Internal use of the calendar
Unpublished accommodations appear in your calendar. This allows you to:
Easily move reservations between accommodations.
Optimize the availability of your properties.
Previously, to manage availability in this way, you had to create a dummy accommodation and customize your engine to exclude this accommodation. Now, you can make an unpublished accommodation and use it immediately without any problems.
Additionally, if a listing is in unpublished status, it will be indicated with an icon in your calendar like this:

Publish your accommodation
Once you've completed setting up your listing, you can easily publish it. This will make it visible in your booking engine, and on the website, and will allow connection with portals such as Airbnb or Booking.com.
Steps to publish an accommodation
Set up your accommodation: Make sure all information is complete and up to date.
Verification2. : Check that rates, availability and photos are correct
Publish: Change the status of the published accommodation from the accommodation tab.
If you have partial accommodations
It is necessary to publish at least 1 housing unit; if it has not been published, you will see this message:
To publish your units, you need to click Pencil > Published > Save:

How can I see if my accommodations are published
From the accommodation section > my accommodations.
Remember
You will always have the option to change a listing to unpublished if you need to make adjustments without it being visible to your guests.
Travelers will not be able to book accommodation that is not published by your booking engine or website.
An accommodation that is not published, you will still be able to connect it to the portals. It is recommended to put it in published state to connect it.
