If you have stopped working with a portal or if one of your properties no longer has an active listing, it is recommended to remove the corresponding synchronization in AvaiBook to avoid unnecessary blocks or availability errors.
⚠️ In addition to removing the synchronization in AvaiBook, you must also disconnect the connection directly from the corresponding portal to properly complete the process and to be able to make changes or updates directly in that portal without restrictions.
Steps to remove a synchronization
Go to the Channel Manager menu in the left-hand side panel.
Select the portal from which you want to remove the synchronization.
Click on the name of the property associated with that synchronization.
Click the Delete syncn button.
If your connection is XML (Booking, Airbnb, Expedia, Vrbo, HomeToGo, Google)
After clicking Delete sync, a confirmation window will appear.
Complete the required fields, indicating the responsible person and the reason for removal.
Confirm the action by clicking "Yes, I’m sure".
If your connection is iCal
When selecting Delete sync, you will be asked whether you want to:
Remove the blocks generated by this synchronization.
Keep the existing blocks.
Choose the option that best suits your needs.
Confirm the action by clicking "Yes, I’m sure".
If you decide to keep the blocks, make sure they do not interfere with other synchronizations or future bookings.
Additional considerations
For other portals such as Casasrurales.net, Escapada Rural, Rentalia, or Aramón, the synchronization must be removed first directly from the portal’s own platform. For this reason, we recommend contacting the respective portal directly to manage the deactivation.
If you need to speed up the process, AvaiBook can remove the synchronization internally within our system. However, please note that this action only affects AvaiBook.
This means that removing the synchronization in AvaiBook does not imply that the synchronization will be removed from the portal, nor that the listing will stop being published there.
Therefore, although we can help remove the connection in AvaiBook, you will still need to contact the corresponding portal to fully complete the synchronization deactivation on their platform.
