🔄 Can I put a different price on Expedia?

If you want to set an increment/decrement

1- Access Manage rates from the accommodation file on the right you have the button

2- Below each rate that is in the link information you will have two options in € or %

3- Choose how you want to apply the increment and configure it in the chosen field

4- To finish click on the button that you see on the right of Send configuration.

🔄 How do I set the rates?

The prices that we send to Expedia are those defined in AvaiBook, both the default rate and the seasonal rate. To them we will add the increase in the event that you have it configured as indicated in the previous point.

🔄How do I set the prices for additional people?

The prices of the additional people that you have configured in AvaiBook are not synchronized with Expedia, it is necessary that you configure the supplement manually in the portal.

Keep in mind that AvaiBook will always send a single price, which is the price of the minimum occupancy that you have established in Expedia for your Rate Plan.

🔄Can I define a minimum stay for Expedia specifically?

You have the possibility to define a minimum stay that applies only to Expedia.

1- Access Channel Manager

2- Click on the Expedia logo so that all the names of the connected accommodations appear below

3- Click on an accommodation

4- Click Go to settings

5- Next to the little squares of the increments you have a phrase in green that says I want to define a minimum stay for this rate, click on it

6- A section is displayed where you can define a minimum and a maximum stay, write the number of the desired day

7- Click Send settings to save

Remember that this only applies to this specific rate, for this accommodation/unit, but for all dates regardless.

🔄 Does AvaiBook refund the amounts collected from Expedia?

By not synchronizing the cancellation policy with Expedia, it is not possible for AvaiBook to automatically refund the amounts charged.

For Expedia reservations that AvaiBook has made the payment, in case the reservation has been canceled within the cancellation period, you must make the refund manually from our system.

🔄 Can I not sell specific dates on Expedia?

You can close the calendar for specific dates that you do not want to sell on Expedia, but that you do want to continue selling on other channels.

1- Access Channel Manager

2- Click on the Expedia logo so that all the names of the connected accommodations appear below

3- Click on an accommodation

4- Click Go to settings

5- You will find the Calendar Management section in Expedia with a small calendar

6- Use the Open or close sales button to open or close those dates you want, only for Expedia

7- Select the Room, the Rate to close/open, the period of time, and the action

8- Finish by clicking the Submit button

🔄 How do I configure the cancellation policy?

The cancellation policy for Expedia must be configured in the portal for each of the rate plans that you have defined there.

Remember that the cancellation policy that you have defined in AvaiBook is not synchronized with Expedia.

🔄 Are cleaning fees or any other extra synchronized?

Cleaning fees or any extras for Expedia must be configured directly in the portal.

🔄 How do I charge for cleaning?

Remember that when Expedia sends us a reservation, the price you will see is that of the stay only, the extras configured in the portal will not be included.

Despite having to configure the cleaning extra in Expedia, and not seeing the real price of the total reservation in AvaiBook, you can charge it from AvaiBook. To do this you must define an additional charging rule:

You can create as many rates as you like from Expedia.

And then you can configure increments and restrictions from AvaiBook.

1- Access Channel Manager

2- Click on the Expedia logo so that all the names of the connected accommodations appear below

3- Click on an accommodation

4- Click Go to settings

5- In the Expedia Rate Maintenance section you have a line for each of your rates

6- You can configure an increase in € or % if you wish, which will apply only to Expedia

7- If you want the minimum stay to be different from what you have established in the seasons, you can configure it in the section I want to define a minimum stay for this rate

8- In this same section you can also set a maximum stay if you want

9- To save click on Send configuration

🔄 Can I create offers?

The promotional offers or packages in which your accommodation may be included, are configured and managed directly from Expedia.

🔄 How do I create a non-refundable rate?

If you want to add a non-refundable rate on Expedia, the first thing you need to do is create it in the portal. To do this, log into your Expedia extranet and go to the Rooms & Rates -> Room Types & Rate Plans menu.

Once you have created your rate in Expedia, you can notify us so that we can synchronize the rate and thus be able to send the prices and availability configured in AvaiBook.
