🔄 Can I put a different price on Booking?

Yes, you can differentiate the price for each sales channel, and for Booking too, of course.

1- Access Channel Manager

2- Click on the Booking logo so that all the names of your connected properties appear below

3- Click on an accommodation

4- Click Go to settings

5- You will have, next to the name of the rate, a small square with the €/% symbol, you can configure the increase in the way you prefer.

(We advise the percentage)

🔄 How do I set prices?

The prices that are passed to Booking are those defined in the default rates and seasons. We add an increment if you have it configured in the way indicated in the previous point.

Supplements for additional people are always synchronized with Booking from the default rates and seasons.

🔄Can I define a minimum stay for a specific Booking?

You have the possibility to define a minimum stay that applies only to Booking.

1- Access Channel Manager

2- Click on the Booking logo so that all the names of the connected accommodations appear below

3- Click on an accommodation

4- Click Go to settings

5- In the Policies and rates management section, you have the configuration of your rates where you will have a space dedicated to the configuration of the minimum stay

6- If you choose "AvaiBook" we will send the minimum stay that you have defined in your default rates and seasons

7- If you choose "Other" you can define a different minimum stay for the rate you are configuring

8- Click Save

Remember that this only applies for this specific rate, for this specific accommodation/unit, but for all dates indistinctly.

🔄 Can I not sell specific dates on Booking?

You can close the calendar for specific dates that you do not want to sell on Booking, but that you want to continue selling on other channels.

1- Access Channel Manager

2- Click on the Booking logo so that all the names of the connected accommodations appear below

3- Click on an accommodatio

4- Click Go to settings

5- You will find a calendar in the Open and close dates section

6- Use the Open sales or Close sales button to open or close the dates you want, only for Booking

7- Select the Room, the Rate to close/open, and the period of time

8- Finish by clicking the Submit button

🔄 How do I configure the cancellation policy?

AvaiBook is the one who sends the cancellation policy to Booking, to configure it:

1- Access Channel Manager

2- Click on the Booking logo so that all the names of the connected accommodations appear below

3- Click on an accommodation

4- Click Go to settings

5- In the Policies and Rates Management section, you have the Cancellation Policies configuration

6- Choose the type of policy in the first drop-down menu, and then configure the formula of the policy

7- You can delete and create new policies with the trash button and + at the end of the line of each one

8- Assign a cancellation policy from those created to the rates you create below

🔄 Automatic refund of the advance payment received, if the reservation is canceled within the cancellation policy.

With this version of the synchronization, the automatic management of the cancellation policy through AvaiBook is mandatory (as long as you charge the Booking reservations with AvaiBook).

You will receive the advance payment charged by AvaiBook when the free cancellation policy ends, while the amount remains in AvaiBook's custody, since the traveler can still cancel for free.

Two situations can occur:

  • The traveler cancels within the period provided for free cancellation: the system will automatically refund the amount of the advance payment collected.

  • The traveler does not cancel, or cancels after the deadline: when the free cancellation policy ends, we will send you the amount of the advance payment.

🔄 How do I create collection rules for Booking reservations?

With AvaiBook you can stop worrying about charging for your reservations, and let the system do everything automatically by configuring collection rules.

The charging rules can be different for each channel, if you wish.

1- Access Channel Manager

2- Click on the Booking logo so that all the names of the connected accommodations appear below

3- Click on an accommodation

4- Click Go to settings

5- In the BDP section you can create a rule for advance payment, rest or for additional charges

6- For each rule you decide to create, configure the Type of operation as collection, choose when to schedule it, the amount and write a concept.

7- Save the configuration with the green Create rule button at the bottom right

🔄 Is cleaning or any other extra synchronized?

In the Extras section you must configure the rules of your accommodation related to: maximum age of children who can enter free of charge, type of charge that pets have in your accommodation, cleaning costs.

1- Access Channel Manager

2- Click on the Booking logo so that all the names of the connected accommodations appear below

3- Click on an accommodation

4- Click Go to settings

5- In the Extras section you must complete all the present configurations, since it is AvaiBook who sends that information to Booking.com

🔄 How do I charge for cleaning?

Remember that when Booking sends us a reservation, the price you will see is that of the stay only, the configured extras will not be included.

In addition to configuring the cleaning costs in the Extras section, you must then configure a charge rule for cleaning in the BDP section, if you want AvaiBook to make this charge for you.

1- Access Channel Manager

2- Click on the Booking logo so that all the names of the connected accommodations appear below

3- Click on an accommodation

4- Click Go to settings

5- In the BDP section you can create a rule of additional charges for cleaning

6- Configure the Type of operation as collection, choose when to schedule it, the amount and write a concept

7- Save the configuration with the green Create rule button at the bottom right

🔄 Can I have different rates?

You can create as many rates as you want from AvaiBook, and for each one you can configure increases, restrictions and cancellation policies.

1- Access Channel Manager

2- Click on the Booking logo so that all the names of the connected accommodations appear below

3- Click on an accommodation

4- Click Go to settings

5- In the Policies and rates management section, you have the Rate configuration

6- With the + button, create the rates you want, give them a name, and configure their characteristics: Increase/Decrease, Minimum stay, Maximum stay, Cancellation policy

7- You can delete and create new rates with the trash can button and + at the end of the line of each one

8- Click Save when you are done

Remember that the rates and policies must always be created from AvaiBook, and this information will have priority over what was previously configured in Booking

🔄 Can I create offers?

The offers are configured and managed directly from Booking.

🔄 Remember:

There are currently two types of synchronization with Booking, one limited and the other one complete. In the next months we are going to carry out a migration so that all accommodations are fully connected to this portal.

If you're interested, you can ask us to switch now to full sync at any time. We will only have to carry out some verifications with you about your configurations and then we will proceed to activate the complete synchronization. Remember that once done, it will not be possible in any case to return to the previous version.
