With the AvaiBook BDP you can also program your deposit automatically. Go to the menu Accounting > BDP.
Click on the "Settings" button in the top right corner and select the accommodation where you want to set up your security deposit.
You can see a configuration line for AvaiBook (and if you have sync with Booking, Expedia or Vrbo, a line for each of them will also appear). Click on the pencil button to edit.
Once you are in the collection configuration section, click on the "Create Rule" button.
An automatic rule configuration box will open.
Choose "Pre-authorization" (1) in the "Type" field and choose the moment (2-3) when you want the amount to be pre-authorized.
*Usually you will want to preauthorize it on the day of the entry, but remember that these operations have a duration of 6 days. If the reservation exceeds 6 days, the amount will be released before the traveller has left. For this reason we recommend that you set it up a few days before departure, so that when the traveller leaves you still have a few days to check the status of your accommodation.
Afterwards, you will only have to set the amount (4) of money you request for your deposit and the concept (5) of the operation. When you have finished, click on the Create Rule button (6) and that's it!
