⚠️ Disclaimer
Google Analytics 4 is an external service, so AvaiBook does not provide support for its configuration. Prior knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) may be required to configure it correctly.
If you use Google Analytics to study and analyze user behavior on your website, you may also want to obtain similar insights about visitors to your booking engine. You will be able to analyze:
Which properties are most viewed in the booking engine.
The time users spend in the booking process.
Information about the devices your users use (desktop, mobile, or tablet).
User data such as behavior, location, language, and much more.
How to integrate Google Analytics into your booking engine
Integration is simple: you only need your Google Analytics tracking ID, which you can find at:
analytics.google.com > admin > tracking info > tracking code > copy your tracking ID.
Once you have copied the tracking ID, go to your booking engine settings and add it here:
Publish > Booking Engine > Settings > General customization > Integrate Google Analytics.
Don’t forget to save your changes. From that moment on, Google Analytics will start collecting data from your booking engine.
📝 Please note that data in Google Analytics may take several hours to appear, and it is not possible to retrieve information from any period prior to the date you added your tracking ID.
Optimize your booking engine
Convert more visits into bookings by analyzing how long users spend in the booking process and ensuring that the content of each property is clear and accurate.
We recommend reviewing your content manager and always using high-quality photos and descriptions.
Regularly review your booking engine content
It is important to carry out regular checks to ensure all your properties receive enough visits and to correct any content issues.
If users spend little time in the booking process, it is likely necessary to review the listings to understand why.
How to create events in GA4
Google Analytics 4 allows you to create events to measure specific actions. For example, you can track booking conversions. To do this, you need to know the AvaiBook confirmation page URL: https://adm.avaibook.com/reservas/justificante
and set a “contains” condition.
Below we show how you can configure it.
