In AvaiBook, you can change two different types of names for your property:
Internal name: the one you use inside your AvaiBook dashboard.
Commercial name: the one guests see on booking channels.
Below, we explain how to change each one.
Change the internal name (only in AvaiBook)
The internal name is the one you use to identify your property within your AvaiBook dashboard. Changing it does not affect what guests see on external channels.
Steps:
Log in to your AvaiBook account.
Go to Properties → My Properties.
Select the property you want to modify.
In the General Information tab, locate the Property Name field.
Edit the name as desired and click Save.
Change the commercial name (visible to guests)
The commercial name is the one displayed on some sales channels and in your Content Manager, so it does affect what guests see.
Steps:
Log in to your AvaiBook account.
Go to Properties → Content Manager.
Find the property you want to modify and click the pencil icon next to its name.
Edit the field “Commercial name of your property”.
Save the changes.
In the case of partial properties, remember that you must access each unit profile within the Content Manager in order to edit its name.
