AvaiBook allows you to create email and contract templates that are automatically populated with the actual details of each booking. This saves you time and helps you provide consistent, personalised communication.
To insert a parameter, type the # symbol in the editor and select the parameter you need from the list. When the email is sent, AvaiBook will automatically replace the parameter with the corresponding booking information.
How to insert a parameter
In the template editor, type # and select the parameter you need from the pop-up menu.
Save the template and, if you wish, preview it using a real booking to check that everything is displayed correctly.
Example:
Hello #traveller_only_name#, your check-in is on #check_in_date# at #check_in_time#.
We look forward to welcoming you at #accommodation_name#.

Best practices
To make sure all parameters are replaced correctly, always use the preview with a real booking option before sending or activating a template.
Do not modify parameter names. Keep their syntax exactly as shown, including uppercase and lowercase letters, as any change may prevent AvaiBook from replacing them automatically.
If a parameter appears in a template without being replaced, check the relevant booking and make sure the corresponding information has been completed, such as the traveller's ID document, additional services or any other required details.
Once you have checked the information, save your changes and preview the template again to make sure everything is displayed correctly.
