Booking Limited: What information is synchronized and what is not?

Limited Version

Updated today

The Booking Limited connection allows certain operational parameters to be synchronized between the system and Booking.com. However, not all accommodation settings are transferred automatically.

Below is a detailed explanation of which information is synchronized and which must be managed directly in the Booking.com portal.

✅ Information that IS synchronized

The following data is automatically sent and updated between the system and Booking.com:

  • Default rate

  • Calendar (availability)

  • Enforce full weekend stay

  • Minimum stay

  • Check-in and check-out days

  • Seasons

  • Maximum advance booking window

  • Check-in/check-out time

  • Preparation time

  • Messaging

❌ Information that is NOT synchronized

The following elements are not synchronized through the limited connection and must be managed directly in the Booking.com extranet:

  • Additional guest price (configured in the portal)

  • Property content

  • Property capacity

  • Check-in/check-out time – from/to configuration

  • Extras

  • Offers and promotions

  • Booking mode (Online / On request via the portal)

  • Minimum advance booking window

  • VAT

  • Tourist tax

  • Cancellation policy

  • Property changes (the change is made in Booking and is not synchronized; after modifying it in the portal, you must update it manually in AvaiBook).

Considerations

The limited connection is primarily designed for synchronizing availability and basic stay restrictions.

If you need to synchronize property content, cancellation policies, or other commercial parameters, you will need to use a Booking Complete connection.
