In addition to the full XML connection to Airbnb, AvaiBook also offers a limited version, always XML. Let's take a look at its features.
What does the Limited XML connection with Airbnb consist of?
When you make a full connection with Airbnb, AvaiBook manages rates, availability and content (descriptions, photos, amenities). If you are not interested in AvaiBook managing your content, you can maintain a fully efficient connection, with all the advantages of XML connections, but you can manage your content from Airbnb with the Limited XML Connection.
This alternative can be especially interesting for you when you have a Plus listing with Airbnb. In this case, since Airbnb has provided you with excellent quality photos, when you connect your AvaiBook accommodation to your Plus listing, this connection will automatically be made in a limited version to keep your content intact on Airbnb.
How can you activate Limited XML Connection with Airbnb?
If you have your full connection ready and you want to change it to limited, you just need to access your listing settings from Channel Manager:
Once you have accessed your connection settings you will find the match of your AvaiBook property with Airbnb, and just to the right you will see a batery:
If the battery is green (as shown in the image above) it means you are fully connected. AvaiBook sends rates, availability and content.
If the battery is white it means that AvaiBook sends rates and availability, all as in full connection, but does NOT send content to your Airbnb listing an also doest NOT send cancellation policies.
You can change the status of your connection by simply clicking on the battery. Remember to clic the save button at the bottom of the screen.
