Booking.com incident – October 15, 2026

Written by Emilia

IMPORTANT UPDATE: incident resolved

On October 15, between 3:44 p.m. and 7:53 p.m. (Spanish time), Booking.com experienced a technical issue that may have prevented some reservations from syncing correctly with AvaiBook.

The service was restored at 7:53 p.m., as confirmed by Booking.com's Connectivity team.

What should you do?

We recommend checking the reservations created on Booking.com during this time period and confirming that they appear correctly in AvaiBook. If any reservations have not synced, they will need to be added manually.

We apologize for any inconvenience this issue may have caused.

PREVIOUS NOTICE: ongoing incident

On October 15, 2026, Booking.com was experiencing an API issue from 3:51 p.m., which may have prevented some reservations from updating correctly in AvaiBook.

As a result, you may have noticed that your reservations are not being updated in AvaiBook.

Booking is working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. In the meantime, we would like to offer you some recommendations to help you manage the situation with peace of mind:

  • You can periodically access your Booking.com extranet to check whether you have received any new reservations.

  • If you have the Pulse app installed, you will receive a notification every time you receive a new reservation.

  • You can also block your calendars in AvaiBook until the issue has been resolved.

We would like to reassure you that, once Booking.com resolves the issue, your reservations will be automatically synchronized with your AvaiBook calendars.
