To help you quickly identify reservations that require action before check-in, AvaiBook now includes a new Pending Payment Alerts feature.
⚡ With this new functionality, you can quickly identify reservations with pending payments, prioritise those that require immediate action and access them directly from the Home page or the Multiplanning Calendar. This helps reduce the time spent manually reviewing reservations and minimises the risk of unpaid bookings before guest arrival.
These alerts highlight the most critical reservations, allowing you to access them directly and manage the payment without having to search for them manually.
Where can you find these alerts?
Pending Payment Reservations alerts are available in two of the most frequently used areas of AvaiBook:
🏠 Home page.
📅 Multiplanning Calendar.
In both locations, the feature behaves in the same way and provides direct access to the reservation details so you can manage the payment.
Alerts on the Home page
The Home page now includes a new section called Pending Payment Reservations, where reservations requiring immediate attention are displayed.
Each alert includes:
Urgency level.
Guest and property.
Check-in date.
Outstanding amount.
Reason for the alert.
Direct access through the Manage payment button.
By clicking Manage payment, AvaiBook will open the reservation details page so you can review the information and complete the payment management.
When there are no alerts
The section will still appear on the Home page, indicating that there are no reservations with pending payments.
When there are more than five alerts
If there are more than five reservations with pending payments, the section will display the first ones and you can view the remaining alerts by clicking View more.
Collapse or expand the section
If you prefer a cleaner Home page, you can hide the content of this section by clicking the icon located in the top-right corner.
You can expand it again at any time.
Return to the Home page
Whenever you want to review these alerts again, simply click the AvaiBook logo located in the top-left corner.
Not managing your payments with AvaiBook yet?
If you currently manage your reservation payments outside AvaiBook, remember that AvaiBook includes an integrated payment gateway that allows you to centralise and simplify your payment management.

Collect payments using Pay by link
If you need to collect payment for a reservation or an additional service, you can also use Pay by link.
This feature allows you to generate a secure payment link that can be sent to the guest through the channel of your choice (email, WhatsApp, SMS, etc.). The guest simply opens the link and enters their card details to complete the payment, without needing to access the booking engine.
It is especially useful for:
Collecting payment for manually created reservations.
Charging for additional services.
Managing outstanding payments quickly and easily.
👉 Whenever there is an outstanding amount, you can access the reservation details directly through the Manage payment button and choose the payment option that best suits each situation.
Alerts in the multiplanning calendar
This functionality is also available in the Multiplanning Calendar, allowing you to identify reservations with pending payments without leaving your usual working environment.
In this view, the functionality behaves almost identically to the Home page, with two differences:
The section is collapsed by default to maximise the available calendar space.
It is only displayed when there are active pending payment alerts.
As on the Home page, each alert includes a Manage payment button, providing direct access to the reservation details.
App display
In the mobile app, the section is collapsed by default to optimise the available screen space. Simply tap it to expand and display the full list of reservations with pending payments.
