The Amounts block in the reservation details has been redesigned to display the real reservation price in a clearer and more consistent way. You can now easily see what makes up the cost of the stay, without mixing pricing concepts with payment methods.
This change only affects the way financial information is displayed. It does not modify calculations, payments, settlements, or charging methods.
What does the new amounts block show?
From now on, the Amounts block displays the following structure:
Stay → Base reservation amount. It can now be edited directly from the reservation details.
Additional Services → Sum of all applied extras. This cannot be edited here; it is managed through the View / Edit link.
Reservation Total → Automatically calculated as: Stay + Additional Services. This reflects the real reservation price (not editable).
Tourist Tax → Displayed separately, outside the main total.
📝 Security Deposit, if configured in the accommodation settings, is also displayed separately from the main total.
How to edit the stay amount
The Stay amount can now be edited directly from the reservation details:
Open the reservation from Planning > Reservations.
In the Amounts block, locate the Stay field.
Click on the amount and enter the new value.
Click outside the field to save the changes automatically.
💡 When you modify the Stay amount, the Total will be updated automatically. Please note that if you have scheduled payment rules configured, these will not update automatically with this change, so they should be reviewed manually.
How to manage additional services
Additional services are not edited directly from the Amounts block, but you can review and modify them without leaving the reservation:
Click + View / Edit next to the Additional Services line.
The list of applied extras will be displayed.
From there, you can remove existing extras or add new ones using the Choose an option dropdown.
How to view the prepayment and remaining amount details
The Prepayment and Remaining Amount fields have not been removed and their functionality has not changed. They still exist and continue to be calculated exactly as before.
They are simply no longer displayed by default, in order to avoid confusion with the actual reservation price.
To view them:
Locate the Total line in the Amounts block.
Click + View.
The detailed amounts for Prepayment and Remaining Amount will be displayed.
To hide them again, click - View.
⚠️ Prepayment and Remaining Amount are now shown collapsed within the reservation total. They can still be reviewed by expanding the detail and will continue to be recalculated automatically as before, but they are no longer editable from this block. If you need to modify their payment settings, you can do so from: Properties > My Properties > Online Payment Settings
Management from the mobile app
You can also review the Amounts block from the AvaiBook mobile app:
Open the reservation from the calendar or reservations list.
Scroll down to the Amounts block.
You will see the same summary: Stay, Additional Services, and Total.
Tap View to display the Prepayment and Remaining Amount details.
