🚨 Cancellation policy update
Airbnb has announced that the Super Strict 30 and Super Strict 60 cancellation policies will be discontinued for most listings.
On 15 June 2026, Airbnb began notifying affected accommodations of this change, providing a 90-day transition period. From 15 September 2026, these policies will no longer be valid and can no longer be used on the platform.
How does this change affect the connection with AvaiBook?
If you currently have one of the following policies configured in your Airbnb connection:
Super Strict 30
Super Strict 60
You do not need to make any immediate changes. Until 15 September 2026, the connection with Airbnb will continue to work as normal.
However, from 15 September 2026, Airbnb will no longer accept these cancellation policies. If they remain configured in your Airbnb connection from AvaiBook, the platform will reject the configuration and the synchronisation will return an error, preventing the connection from working correctly.
What do I need to do?
Before 15 September 2026, access your Airbnb connection in AvaiBook and select one of the cancellation policies that Airbnb will continue to support.
The available policies will be:
