Synchronization of rates:

  • Rates are synchronized (season and default rate) for the base capacity you have configured in AvaiBook.

  • Minimum stay restrictions, day of arrival and/or departure and forced weekend are synchronized.

  • The maximum advance booking is synchronized.

  • It is possible to create customized charging rules as it is most convenient for your accommodation model.

  • Prices for additional persons are NOT synchronized. It will be necessary to configure the extra manually.

  • The capacity of your accommodation is NOT synchronized. AvaiBook will send prices to the number of people requested by Booking.com for your rate.

  • Offers and extras cannot be synchronized. They must be created directly on the portal.

  • The information that will be given priority in Booking.com will be the one configured in AvaiBook. You will be able to configure increases or decreases on your prices for this portal.

  • Please try to keep your prices and availability updated for at least the next 12 months.

Synchronization of availability and reservations:

  • AvaiBook's calendar is synchronized with Booking.com's calendar in real time.

  • Remember that Booking.com gives priority to the AvaiBook calendar. It is essential that you keep your calendar updated in AvaiBook.

  • The minimum advance reservation is NOT synchronized.

  • Booking.com reservations will be automatically registered in AvaiBook.

  • Full details of the traveller are recorded (name, email, comments, etc.)

  • The number of children and their ages that come in the reservation, are recorded.

  • Card details are registered and the card is validated. Remember that the cards remain active up to 7 days after departure.

  • Cancellations are recorded. In the case of a pre-synchronization reservation, AvaiBook will notify you of the cancellation so that you can update your calendar.

  • Changes in dates and card details are automatically recorded.

  • Changes in room or accommodation are not recorded. AvaiBook will notify you of a change in the reservation that could not be processed. You can easily modify the assigned accommodation from the web.

Content:

  • Currently it is not possible to synchronize content with Booking.com. Therefore, we cannot send from AvaiBook photos, descriptions, amenities, cancellation policies or other rules.

There are currently two types of synchronization with Booking, one limited and the other one complete. In the next months we are going to carry out a migration so that all accommodations are fully connected to this portal.

In full sync, the content is synced with Booking.com.

If you're interested, you can ask us to switch now to full sync at any time. We will only have to carry out some verifications with you about your configurations and then we will proceed to activate the complete synchronization. Remember that once done, it will not be possible in any case to return to the previous version.

Exclusive unit:

  • The exclusive unit can only be sold by Booking.com, therefore, this units will only be discounted when a reservation is received from Booking.com.

  • If Booking.com only sells an exclusive unit, even if there is no more availability in the synchronized accommodations, Booking.com will not discount the availability of the exclusive unit.

This can only happen if you have agreed in your contract with Booking.com to accept this premise and it can only be applied in the cases where Booking.com has not made any reservation on your side for those dates.
