Lock/Unlock one or more accommodations

You may need to lock or unlock a few days in one or more of your accommodations for whatever reason.

You don't need to make the changes one by one manually to do this.

Go to Planning > Calendar and find the Advanced Actions section in the upper right hand corner where you can Block one or more accommodations.

If you click on this option, a box will open where you can choose the accommodations to which you want to apply this block and the period in which you want to do it.

Below we will define the days of the week to which we will apply this block (if they are all or only some).

*The days of the week that are in green, are to which the block will be applied. The days of the week that are in white color, are the days that will not be blocked.

When you have it, click on the Block Dates button.

If we follow the previous example, we would choose the month of March and, under this option, we would mark only the Mondays, which would be the day we would have a holiday, therefore it is the day the calendar would be blocked.

We would follow the same process if what we want is to unblock a period that we have previously blocked.

Although, this time, we would choose the option Unblock one or more accommodations in the Advanced Actions.

Update one or more accommodations

On the other hand, you may have noticed that, after accessing your profile, the home page shows you several options and graphics. One of them is Calendars.

AvaiBook has developed a system that detects if there have been changes in the calendars of your properties during a certain period of time, and if not, it advises you to take a look at them to make sure everything is correctly updated.

See if that button appears in green or orange.

If it is green, it is because there has been movement in your calendars, so AvaiBook will consider them updated and you will not have to make any changes.

However, if it appears in orange it is because one or several of your accommodations have not changed in a long time. Perhaps it is because you have not had reservations but, anyway, you will have to "update" them so that we at AvaiBook can be sure that the platform works correctly for you.

To do this, just click on that Calendar button. The system will show you the outdated accommodations and if you click on any of them, you will be redirected to the Planning > Calendar page, where you can change it.

Once there, you must click Update one or more accommodations, within the Advanced Actions section. Make sure you mark well those you want to update, and simply click Update Calendar.

When you go back to the home page, you'll see how that button, once orange, is now green and the calendars are updated.

Another quick way to mark your accommodation as updated, is from the same calendar, with the right button clicking on the name of the accommodation:
